I. Template
Here is the template that must be followed. However, feel free to add on. To get an idea of just what you can add to your character profile if you want to go above and beyond the requirements, take a look at one of the moderators' profiles, as they typically include TONS of sections. This is the minimum.

II. Allegiances
Allegiance is swearing your life to a specific Kingdom. Eight kingdoms dot Lesser Carme, some new and some old. There are three Old Kingdoms: Avie'ka, Ravisha, and Sparinik. These three kingdoms have been around for many ages, but in recent times, with significant chaos in the land of Carme, several more kingdoms have emerged: Yagothia, Arcania, Eastrlund, and Thaetharin. The many islands west of Carme were until recently uninhabited by civilized people, until the middle of the Diabolos War, when the Kingdom of 1000 Isles was colonized by refugees.
Avie'ka: Avie'ka is a righteous kingdom, filled with noble paladins, righteous knights, and of course, pompous nobles. The nation is generally prosperous, with an obvious though not overly large class distinction. Most citizens are good and will do whats right, including upholding the law, but they also tend to view themselves far above citizens of other nations. There are quite a few well-developed cities, and the capital is very wealthy, large, and economic, with a thriving market, many taverns, temples, inns, and more. An Avie'kan is on average very trustworthy and will do the right thing, though are generally more arrogant than they deserve. Oddly enough, the average citizen also tends to be the weakest in Avie'ka when compared to the other kingdoms because of their lifestyle, though the guards, heroes, and army are well trained and able to fight off many enemies.
Avie'ka is moderately Lawful Good aligned.
Ravisha: Ravisha's streets and housing areas are run down from an over-abundance of crime, the economy is never better than average, and honest jobs past being a mercenary for hire are very hard to come by and be prosperous in within here, due to Ravisha's especially high crime rate. Walk down an alley, and you'll come out stripped of your possessions and/or beaten to a pulp, even if you just stole those possessions from somebody else. In other words, it's very dog eat dog, with very few people trusting enough to form friendships or even working agreements with each other. Most Ravishans hate those of other nations, though the leadership is able to allow for an uneasy truce with most, and may ally when the situation calls for it. In war, Ravishans prefer spying and assassination to direct conflict.
Ravisha is weakly Chaotic Neutral aligned.
Sparinik: Sparinik is a very average kingdom, one you would expect to find in such an era, day and age. The people aren't especially law abiding or apt to do good things, but there also aren't a large amount of thugs, brutes and thieves walking the streets, though of course such things are prevalent in the right areas. There are large cities, small towns, poor villages, slums, wanderers, and other common such things throughout the land, though oddly enough they all seem to work well together. Sparinikians are quick to take revenge, and perhaps quick to fight, but they rarely start conflicts and generally just want outsiders to leave them alone. Most citizens are strong, and their armies are made up of mostly warriors, with a few mages and clerics. Many types can arise from Sparinik, however, so you should never make an assumption based on their nationality.
Sparinik is weakly True Neutral Aligned.
Arcania: Arcania is a kingdom formed by Ules Felko. It has a prosperous, though iron-fisted rule. The streets will be spotless, though dark guards and even undead may be patrolling them to keep a look out for defectors or troublemakers. It is the most prosperous of the nations, with the best economy, as well as several magical enhancements such as teleportation crystals in major cities and defenses powered by sorcery, because of the amount of control present. Arcanians will usually always keep their word, but only to a literal point, being fond of tricking people into agreeing to the wrong thing. Many of them are untrusting because of the presence of guards throughout the area. You will find more necromancers and dark clerics here than you will anywhere else, and such practices are legal and even encouraged. Laws here are very odd. A thief will likely be slaughtered as punishment, though someone killing for revenge might be able to get away with it with a good explanation. As such, petty crimes are low, but if you cross an Arcanian, your life is very much at risk.
Arcania is moderately Lawful Evil Aligned.
Yagothia: Yagothia is a kingdom practically screaming out 'for bandits and thieves to rest and prosper'. Rather than Ravisha, which attempts, though fails, at ending crime, Yagothia has very few laws past those which prevent treason or war, and as such, technically has a low crime rate, though from the eyes of any with a sense of honor or morality, it's an even worse version of Ravisha. If you are an outlaw, you likely won't find much trouble here, as they rarely prey on each other, but if you wish to bring a caravan through Helfri's Pass and haven't payed King Yagotha for the privilege, expect to not even have the clothes on your back by the time you get through. There are some loosely held together cities, though the luxury is low. The capital city, Yagotan, however, is aptly named the City of Hedonism, as King Yagotha has spent obscene amounts of money on it. Outlaws here tend to be more intelligent than those in Ravisha, who act more like thugs.
Yagothia is strongly Chaotic Neutral aligned.
Thaetharin: Thaetharin is an icy, nearly uninhabitable kingdom in the south - the north is a completely barren polar wasteland. It is full of nomads and some slightly more civilized barbarians, and just about all of the tribes and groups have a good mindset, if somewhat brutal. They are quick to help, but easy to anger, and the only civilized people you will find is in the capital and perhaps with smattering about the very few towns in the nation. Most of the living conditions are unbearable without the right clothing and blankets. The Thaethrain Wastes, however, attract adventurers, for the land there was once a wealthy kingdom in ages past, and still harbors many of it's previous treasures, buried in the ice amidst monolithic ruins of great cities long gone. The land between Frostguard and Castle Skybreak is virtually uninhabited - the closest thing to a civilized person that will be found there is a wandering barbarian seeking to pass some tribal test. Or, perhaps, just their frozen corpse.
Thaetharin is strongly Chaotic Good aligned.
Eastrlund: The Eastrlunds are a harsh, hostile place. Loosely held together by goblinkin, kobolds, orc, and other evil humanoid creatures, it is a place where most of the greater races are killed on sight, except in the rare instances where they call upon a group of human mercenaries or the like. They only have one city, the capital, which was really just the only human city that they didn't destroy when taking the land upon the chaos of Diabolos' defeat, and the rest of the nations is mostly loose-knit villages and a couple of rundown human towns that are inhabited because of the nearly-intact walls and buildings. To survive here, you must either be a brutish humanoid, or be able to fight well and pay gold when needed.
The Eastrlunds are moderately Chaotic Evil aligned.
The Kingdom of 1000 Isles: This kingdom is a large chain of islands filled with villages, held together with a few key well-developed towns. They trade frequently, and are quite prosperous. Islanders are very loyal, though they generally won't go out of their way to assist those that haven't earned their friendship or servitude. They don't distrust outsiders, though they do trust them less than their own. They are fairly secluded, and besides trade, they are rarely seen outside of their own kingdom, as the kingdom does not spawn a large amount of adventurers and knights. They are generally in good graces with anyone and everyone, not doing much to harm or annoy even evil types of citizens.
The Kingdom of 1000 Isles is weakly Lawful Neutral aligned.
Last but not least, there is the Wanderer. A Wanderer has no allegiance, or has given up on one. Wanderers are a motley bunch, there's no way to group them, though the stereotype is the 'lone ranger' type.
Alternatively, you can give an allegiance to a character with an army or underlings of some sort that does not have kingship.

III. Alignments
Good Alignments
Lawful Good "Crusader": A lawful good character has the commitment and discipline to oppose and fight evil relentlessly. They tell the truth, keep their word, and speak out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. A paladin who fights evil without mercy and who protects the innocent without hesitation is lawful good. Lawful good emphasizes honor and Compassion.
Examples, Superman, an incorruptable cop, or the Jedi are all examples of Lawful Good characters.
Neutral Good "Benefactor": A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. They are devoted to helping others. They work with kings and magistrates but do not feel beholden to them. A cleric who helps others according to their needs is neutral good. Neutral good means doing what is good without bias toward or against order. In my opinion, this is the most obscure and most commonly misunderstood alignment.
Examples: Cadderly Bonaduce, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Gandalf from LOTR are all examples of Neutral Good.
Chaotic Good "Free Spirit": Chaotic good characters act as their conscience directs them with little regard for what others expect. They believe in goodness and right, but have little use for laws and regulations. They follow their own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. A ranger who waylays the evil barons tax collectors is chaotic good. Chaotic Good combines a good heart with a free spirit.
Examples: Drizzt Do'Urden and Han Solo are both examples of Chaotic Good.
Neutral Alignments
Lawful Neutral "Judge": A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code direct them. They may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or they may believe in order for all and a strong organized government. A monk who follows his discipline without being swayed by the demands of those in need nor by the temptations of evil is lawful neutral. Lawful neutral means that you're reliable and honorable without being a zealot.
Examples: A soldier who follows orders without question or a wizard who only seeks knowledge and dabbles little in other matters are both examples of Lawful Neutral.
True Neutral "Undecided": A true neutral character doesn't feel strongly one way or the other about good V.S. evil or law V.S. chaos. They think good is better than evil - after all they would rather have good rulers than evil ones - but they're not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. A wizard who devotes himself to his art and is bored by the semantics of debate is true neutral. Some true neutral characters, however, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as dangerous extremes. They advocate neutrality as the most balanced road in the long run. Neutral means that you react naturally, without prejudice or compulsion.
Examples: Most animals are True Neutral, and druids commit themselves philisophically to this alignment.
Chaotic Neutral "Rebel": A chaotic neutral character is an individualist, resents restrictions and challenges tradition. They don't intentionally promote anarchy, however, as that would require them to be motivated by either good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make others suffer). A bard who wanders the land living by his wits is chaotic neutral. Chaotic neutral represents freedom both from societies restrictions and from a do-gooders zeal, though a character of this alignment is not totally random in their actions. They are not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it.
Examples: The rogue drow, Jarlaxle, is an excellent example of Chaotic Neutral, and many barbarians and bards are chaotic neutral.
Evil Alignments
Lawful Evil "Dominator": Lawful evil villains metholodically take what they want within the limits of their code of conduct. They care about loyalty, tradition, and order. But not about freedom, dignity or life. They are loath to break laws or promises because they rely on law to protect themselves. Some lawful evil villains have particular taboos, such as not killing in cold blood, and imagine that these compunctions put them above unprincipled thugs. The scheming baron who exploits his people is lawful evil. Lawful evil represents methodical, intentional evil.
Examples: Artemis Entreri and Darth Vader are all examples of Lawful Evil. Devils are the epitome of Lawful Evil.
Neutral Evil "Malefactor": Neutral evil villains do whatever they can get away with, shedding no tears for those they harm. They have no love of order and hold no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make them any more noble. However, they don't have the relentless nature and/or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has. The criminal who robs and murders to get what he wants is neutral evil. Neutral Evil represents evil without honor or variation. Many assassins are of this alignment.
Examples: Voldemort is an example of Neutral Evil, and many drow are Neutral Evil.
Chaotic Evil "Destroyer": Chaotic evil characters do whatever their greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive them to do. They are hot-tempered, vicious and unpredictable. Thankfully, their plans are haphazard, and any group they form or join are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil characters can only be made to work together by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him. The demented sorcerer pursuing mad schemes of vengeance and havoc is chaotic evil. Chaotic evil represents the destruction of not only beauty and life but of the order on which beauty and life depend. This alignment is very commonly misunderstood, like Neutral Good. I've seen many people assume Chaotic Evil means to constantly thinking of what to kill and torture next, to do nothing but it. Sure, it's a possibility; But there are many other ways one could be of this alignment. Being Chaotic Evil does not make you a psychotic killer.
Examples: Sabertooth from the X-Men comics is an example. Demons are the epitome of Chaotic Evil.
There you have it folks, many alignments to choose from, I think most of you can fit your character in to one of these. Well enjoy..
Once you pick an alignment, it can change, you don't have to keep the same alignment through the whole RP.
If you're having trouble deciding your alignment, or just want to kill time, then this test is there to help. In fact, I recommend it anyways.

((Creds to Claude, Ules, and Filthy))
IV. Attributes
Attributes give an idea of your characters' strengths and weaknesses, and is very similar to both pen and paper and compute role playing games.
Also, try to make your character have some weaknesses, don't just up and make them all 10's ya monkeys! Now, you don't have to have a WEAK skill, but you should make some at least average..
Also note that these skills will NEVER decide the outcome of an rp situation just because someone has a 10 in something. Rp the skill correctly and you'll have an advantage. Just because you have a 10 in strength or a 10 in charisma doesn't mean you'll always win a fight or seduce a young woman. Remember that people!
Note: ON the flipside, if you have an int of 3, your character will not be clever, quick, or the like. He will be stupid, and should be rp'd as such, or else you may be punished. Basically, follow the limits of your attributes.
Numbers & Skill Rating (Ratings for how skilled your character is based on number of points into a certain skill):
The Ratings are from 1 - 10 (10 being the highest, 1 the lowest)
1: Near Non-Existent (A zombie's DEX, a starving beggar's CON)
2: Crippled (A halfling wizard's STR, a half-orc's CHA)
3: Weak (A wizard's STR, a barbarian's INT)
4: Amateur (A wizard's CON, A fighter's INT)
5: Below Average (An archer's STR, A Thief's WIS)
6: Average (A peasant's CHA, a cleric's STR)
7: Above Average (A knights's DEX, a thief's CHA)
8: Advanced (An experienced thief's DEX, a barbarian's STR)
9: Superior (A bard's CHA, a barbarian's CON)
10: Masterful (A grandmaster monk's DEX, an Archmage's WIS, or a half ogre's STR)
*11: Superhuman (A succubi's CHA, a pit fiend's CON)
*12: Legendary (An ancient gold dragon's INT, an iron golem's STR)
*13: Godlike (A titan's STR, a demigod's WIS)
Any attributes scores marked with a * cannot be attained by normal means. The only way to attain these scores are things like being a very important plot character, having a major artifact, or having the blessing of a god. No matter what the artifact is, once an attribute is at 10, each major artifact can only increase the affected attribute by 1. In order to add a 10+ attribute to your character, you must PM a mod (currently either Ules, Merek, Serris, or Claudius) and confirm that it's ok.
Basic Attributes:
Strength: (Measures the muscle and physical power of your character)
Dexterity: (Measures agility, reflexes and balance)
Constitution: (Represents the health and stamina of your character)
Intelligence: (Intelligence determines how well your character learns or reasons)
Wisdom: (Wisdom describes a characters willpower, common sense, perception, and intuition)
Charisma: (Charisma measures a character's force of personality, persuasiveness, ability to lead, and physical attractiveness)
And one last thing. If someone would like to add those statistics to their profile and are not sure how to balance it out, PM Ules or Claude, and one of us will help you out.

V. Expanded profile
I ripped this from Ules', and added links and descriptions for new stuff. Nothing here is required past what's in the first post, but the more you have, the better you'll look . I didn't include quite everything because some of it's discrete and mostly only Ules would need it. But feel free to look at my profile for it or for examples.
