NEWS:

Those of you using Internet Explorer (IE) may not be able to see the C-Box. The forum was coded with Firefox in mind and it is recommended that to get the most out of the forum, you use Firefox which can be found HERE.

Soon the forum will be undergoing some slight adjustments to the skin. To start, I may just tweak a few minor items. During this time, there may be parts of the code that do not work or the forum that will not show. Please report any incidents to Serris.

I'd like to welcome any new members to the forum. While activity may be a bit lacking for the moment, please bear with us as we continue advertising and affiliating. If any of our members have ideas to better the forum or would like to sponsor affiliates, please do not hesitate to share.

The Fae and Nymph races have been added to the 'Bestiary', check there for updates that may include your race as well. Such updates may be used as an RP-device.

 Rules and Guidelines
« Thread Started on Mar 25, 2008, 12:07am »

Courtesy of the admins and mods

  • 1. The admins try to keep the peace. Respect them. Their job is rather tiring if everyone they talk to snaps at them.

  • 2. No double posting. If you have another thing to say and no one has posted in the thread yet, just edit your post.

  • 3. Godmoding is controlling others actions or thoughts. Metagaming is using knowledge your character would not know while in an role-play thread. Both are prohibited. (Note that a mod may godmode you if either you aren't RPing a fight fairly, or if it's necessary for a quest. If you think a mod is being unfair, tell them, and if they still are, ask another mod)

  • 4. The writings and graphics are the property of their respective owners; Don't steal them or claim as your own.

  • 5. All new members must post within two weeks of confirmation. If you are inactive for more than two weeks without acknowledging absence, you will be warned, and if you don't post within two days of being warned, deleted.

  • 6. Be respectful of others around you OOC. They came here to have fun, not to fight against each other! An exception to this rule is if Vex, Ette, or Kara show up. Then you can flame their asses to hell.

  • 7. Post in the correct places.

  • 8. Have Fun, and Have a sense of humor! The site was created for fun, so don't be uptight, and enjoy yourselves!

  • 9. No character may be based entirely on a movie/game/book character. This takes away the creativeness of the board, so please don't do it.

  • 10. If you would like to advertise a site in the spam board, you will have to have more than 20 posts. I want to make sure you are here to stay, and you're not just using my site as an advertising board. If have under 20 posts, you can only ask for an affiliation.

  • 11. All members are to meet the Proboards rules for posting, including that the forum cannot contain nude images, intense sexual role-play scenes, or extreme language. It should be noted that modern-day cursing is different than what would be heard in the forum's time-line.

  • 12. Stay within a medieval/feudal time-period; there are no sophisticated weapons. That said, some medieval items can be registered to have special attributes dubbed "magical".

  • 13. Signatures are not to exceed 480x160 pixels. Aside from looking gaudy, they also stretch the forum. If you require an image to be edited, cropped, rendered, etc... consult the 'Graphics Board'.

Ules Note: While I am not Aldura, and this is merely a relocation of the forums, my word is still law here. I, as well as the lower individuals with admin rights, have every right to change the rules around.

Serris Note: Spells and other abilities are sometimes allowed into the role-play world by accident. If one with administrative rights sees fit to remove a characters ability, they have every right to do so. If the ability is removed after being used in a current fight, the character will be able to rework his post accordingly.

I would also like to point out that we are fairly lax on how profiles are written but this can be revoked should too many members submit inadequate profiles lacking the detail needed for any meaningful approval.

Role-play battles are ran through a t1-system described in the following post: t1 Fighting Guidelines.
