Personality: Rupert is a passive mage, his attitude is dry and boring according to those who have contact with him. Stubborn and cranky, the Archmage of the Magicians Guild is often shut in the tower, reading through ancient tomes or experimenting with dangerous alchemical mixtures. As a wizard, Rupert has dedicated the last 35 years of his life to solitary study, shutting out the world in his attempt to gain greater knowledge of the arcana. Currently, his studies consist of artifact experimentation and alchemy. There is no mage in the land that can rival his magical abilities or knowledge. Although he lacks the ambition and raw physical power of a sorcerer, Rupert compensates for this with his extreme intelligence, often producing surprising deductions and counters to near impossible problems.
